About Cedar Sky
The Significance of Cedar
Cedar has long symbolized protection and grounding. Used to build both homes and sacred spaces, it holds a quiet sense of safety—a place to land, to be sheltered, to be held. It also speaks to cleansing and renewal.
In many traditions, cedar is used to gently clear what feels heavy or stagnant, creating space for healing and clarity to emerge.
There’s something deep within its presence. Cedar reflects restoration and meaning, much like the counseling journey—an unfolding of inner healing, integration, and reconnection to what is true.
As it stands tall and reaches toward the heavens, it becomes a living reminder of our capacity to grow through pain, move toward wholeness, and seek greater purpose.

Hi, I’m Rebecca!
There are seasons in life when we find ourselves carrying more than we were meant to hold alone—anxiety that lingers beneath the surface, relationships that feel strained, transitions that leave us untethered, or a quiet sense that somewhere along the way we drifted from ourselves.
My work as a counselor is rooted in helping clients slow down, reconnect, and find their way back to balance and authenticity.
I believe healing begins within the safety of a genuine relationship. My presence in the counseling room is warm, personable, and grounded.
I strive to create a space where you feel seen—not rushed, not judged, and not expected to arrive with all the answers. I value showing up as a real person beside you, offering support, curiosity, and compassionate guidance as we navigate your story together.
My approach is primarily rooted in Person-Centered and Gestalt therapy. I believe each person already carries within them an innate capacity for growth, healing, and change.
Together, we explore patterns, deepen awareness, and cultivate a stronger connection to your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of self.
While I offer warmth and acceptance, I also believe meaningful change requires honesty. At times, I may gently challenge long-standing patterns, blind spots, or ways of relating that keep you feeling stuck.
My goal is not to push you beyond your readiness, but to help you discover new possibilities through greater awareness and intentional choice. I see counseling not as fixing what is broken, but as creating space to become more fully who you are.
I work with adult individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, relational challenges, stress, life transitions, and struggles with self-esteem.
I especially enjoy working with young adults as they navigate seasons of change, identity, relationships, and the often uncertain journey of discovering who they are and who they want to become.
My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and naturally shapes the way I care for others. For clients who desire it, I am honored to thoughtfully integrate Christian faith, biblical principles, and prayer into the counseling process. For those who do not, counseling remains centered on your goals, values, and unique story. Whether or not faith is part of your counseling experience, you will be met with respect, authenticity, and care personalized to your unique story.
My hope is that our work together becomes a place where you can set down what feels heavy, reconnect with what matters most, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and fully your own.
I look forward to working with you,
